In the bid to curb the high illiteracy levels that existed in Kabubbu, KDP started a Primary school in 2002 and is to date running three education institutions including a primary school, a secondary school and a vocation training Institute
1. Kabubbu Community Nursery & Primary School

How it started!
This was started in 2002 in partnership with Quicken Trust to provide sponsorship to orphans and the needy children in the village of Kabubbu. The school aims at strengthening the capacity of the orphaned and vulnerable children through education and skills training for sustainable development of the Kabubbu community and the nation at large. The school has a nursery section which offers early childhood education to children from 3–5years and the primary section that starts from Primary one to Primary seven where they qualify with a Primary Leaving Examinations (P.L.E) certificate. The school encourages students to participate in co-curricular activities which helps them to identify and develop their inner talents

About The High School
Trust High school is one of the educational Institutions of KDP that offers secondary school education to sponsored and non-sponsored children (both boys & girls) with a population of over 500 students. It has both O’ & A’ level offering sciences and Arts. We promote and emphasize an excellent education system which is approved by the Ministry of Education & Sports and over the years we have excelled in this area. We discover and promote students’ talents in different activities which include Sports and games, dance and drama, debating and many others.
3.Font-Hill Community Vocational Institute

About the Vocational Institute
Font-Hill is a vocational and technical institute located in Kabubbu-Gayaza, as well managed by Kabubbu Development Project. We train and equip people with hands-on skills to enable them become self-reliant and thus, contributing to social-economic transformation of the society. The institute offers a variety of courses i.e. Fashion and design, Institutional catering and hotel management, computer engineering, electrical installation and early childhood development /child care. It is recognized by the ministry of Education & Sports and accredited by the directorate of industrial training examination body.
