Since 2002, the Kabubbu Development Project has partnered with 153 villages across Uganda's Nangabo sub-county, delivering holistic healthcare, education, and economic-empowerment programs led by the proximate leaders who know these communities best.

Today, we reach over 160,000 people every year — and we're just getting started.

That's why we invest in healthcare, education, and economic empowerment together, not in isolation. Our work centers on the people most often overlooked:

— BUILDING TOWARD SUSTAINABILITY

KDP recognizes that lasting community transformation cannot depend on donor funding alone. KDP generates 35% of its revenue through its programs and a portfolio of income-generating projects designed to fuel our mission from within. Our income-generating activities include:

Kabubbu Resort

Offering high-standard accommodation and professional hospitality services, the resort welcomes guests while generating revenue that supports our charitable work.

Maize Mill

We purchase maize directly from the community, milling it into posho for sale while distributing a portion back to community beneficiaries — supporting local farmers and food security.

Agribusiness

From production to processing, marketing, and distribution, our agribusiness initiatives strengthen the local agricultural economy while generating sustainable income for KDP's programs.
